Current Research

Our goal is to conduct research that will inform the development of more effective treatment and prevention interventions for eating disorders.

We are currently conducting research aimed at understanding psychosocial factors that may explain why some young people are more vulnerable to developing disordered eating and body image disturbance than others.

Current studies are focused on the role of weight stigma, difficulties with emotion regulation, problematic exercise, social media and executive function.
